Geufron Barn is a well-received holiday cottage in Aberdaron, praised for its comfortable home comforts, stunning location with beautiful views, and cosy underfloor heating. Guests appreciate the property's layout and the delightful experience of seeing cows in the garden. Some minor feedback includes suggestions for additional kitchenware and basic provisions upon arrival.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The location is consistently described as lovely and stunning, with great views and proximity to Aberdaron bay, contributing to a high score.
Comfort receives positive remarks for the underfloor heating and overall cosiness, but some guests noted that certain mattresses were hard, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-fitted property and great garden. However, points are deducted for the lack of a teapot, insufficient plates, and a broken hoover attachment.
Guests suggested improvements in providing basic provisions like bin bags and dishwasher tablets. While gifts are not mentioned, it is noted that such provisions are not guaranteed.
Just under a mile from Aberdaron's village centre, Geufron Barn is ideally situated with a great beach, lovely cafes, pubs and local shops all within walking distance.
Sit out on the patio and take in the spectacular views across Aberdaron Bay from this lovingly-restored 4-bedroom barn with large, open kitchen/dining area, cosy snug room with roaring log burner and whimsical twin bedroom that's accessed via paddle stairs. Two of the three king bedrooms offer flexible sleeping options and the other features the luxury of an en suite shower room. The property itself is around 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Aberdaron's former fishing village and wonderful mile-long beach (dog-friendly from Apr-Sept) where you'll also find some great cafes and shops. The village is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (aonb) so there are some truly fantastic sights to behold along the coastal paths as well as seasonal boat trips to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) to spot some of the local wildlife.

Lovely barn with fantastic views, not very easy walk into town even though it says it is less than a mile. Make sure you take tablets to watch TV as only one TV provided for 4 bedrooms and 2 living areas. Great to see the cows at the bottom of the garden when they move fields.
Mr Kirk
Great cottage and stunning location. The underfloor heating kept us toasty warm in the middle of winter and the layout of the property works well.
