With the fantastic stretch of Dinas Dinlle beach just 1.5miles away, spend the day basking in the sunshine, building sandcastles, or enjoying a dip and dolphin spotting, before devouring a bag of fish and chips from The Surfer Chippy in the shadow of the iron-age hillfort. Leave the car parked at the beach and walk down to visit the coastal fortress of Belan Fort and the Foryd Nature Reserve beyond. The Lon Las Eifion cycle track also passes a stone's throw from the property and runs Easterly to Caernarfon, Y Felinheli, Bangor and to Bethesda up the Ogwen Valley beyond, or Westerly to Porthmadog. A pretty Welsh village just outside of the majestic Snowdonia National Park. Groeslon is the ideal base for exploring all of what North Wales has to offer. There is also the Indigo Jones Slateworks, a slate business dating back to the 1860's which has a delightful café and is dog friendly. There is seemingly endless places to see and things to do around Groeslon with the historic town of Caernarfon just a short drive away, and the amazing Isle of Anglesey just slightly further, a place you must visit whilst in North Wales. There is also an abundance of seaside resorts nearby if that's your thing, with Dinas Dinlle, Pwllheli and Porthmadog all within easy reach.
