Cwm Gwyrfai is a romantic, duplex ground-floor apartment sitting in the royal town of Caernarfon, Gwynedd. A reverse-level property by the sea, this lovely apartment is dog-friendly with open-plan living, easy access to local amenities, and is a short drive away from Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The ground floor hosts a contemporary double bedroom with hanging space, industrial-style bedside lamps, and throws and cushions for a homely feel. In the mornings, freshen up in the pristine shower room next door with a spacious walk-in shower and heated towel rail. However, living there proved something else: no instructions on how to operate any facilities, couldn't get some to operate; those that didn't work were not fixed in spite of our raising the issues on our second day after having found them out; other things were plain irritating. In short, the various things that didn't work/couldn't see how to work spoiled the whole show - and non-one helped, at all. Very annoying and frustrating. We were told that many of the things we raised had been raised by others, so why were they not fixed then? Shame, as most could be fixed at little or no cost. So, if you fancy a good-looking and convenient place to stay, go ahead but do not expect to like it that much on closer acquaintance. You have been well warned.

Comfy bed and all I needed for a happy stay with my dog. Had to leave early unfortunately due to urgent business. The caretaker Colin was very kind and helpful. Excellent location. Hope to return in the spring

The bed is too small for two adults. My husband and myself are not big but we struggled. I understand there is limited space because of the recess, but how about moving the bed to the rail wall and putting the rail in the recess. Just a suggestion.
