Chemical toilet smelled awful so I didnât use. Shower in block rarely had any hot water and lasted just about 30 seconds for every pound. On the positive side very comfy bed and good cooking facilities and also spacious decking outside with chairs and sun bed. Good location in the heart of Snowdonia. Overall I donât think I would return.

Lovely tranquil spot and scenery, and location wise it couldn't be better (10mins to Llanberis, 10mins to Caernarfon, 10mins to Bangor, 20mins over to Anglesey). It had everything you need at an affordable price. Not sure why people have given a bad review, this is glamping, on a camp site, so yes there is a separate shower block, and you refill your water bottles yourself, but it's right there next to the sheppard hut. And the parking is literally a few steps from your door. It's all very convenient and to have the chemical toilet inside the hut is a huge bonus for needing a wee in the night, a lot of sheppard huts don't have that. I can't fault this place and had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Can't believe that previous people complained. Stop being so miserable and enjoy this little gem of a place for an excellent price.

Luckily there was a toilet and shower block that we could use,but to our digust it was absolutely filthy with no attempt to be cleaned.
