Y Garreg Fawr is a well-received cottage, praised for its cosy atmosphere, beautiful location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests enjoyed the snug space, secure garden, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While some noted the steep stairs and firm mattress, the charm and cleanliness of the cottage, along with its suitability for pets, made for a delightful stay.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific areas needing attention. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained and tidy.
The cottage is appreciated for its peaceful setting and proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. Some guests mentioned difficulty in finding the property and the presence of a busy road, but the location is generally seen as a highlight.
Comfort levels are generally high, with guests enjoying the cosy feel and central heating. Some guests found the bed and sofa a bit hard, and the steep stairs were a concern for a few, but overall the cottage provided a comfortable stay.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and a secure garden for pets. However, some guests suggested improvements such as better TV placement and more comfortable seating. The lack of a washing machine was noted, but the presence of a dishwasher was appreciated.
