Guests say

This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Y Stabl in Criccieth is a well-received cottage with guests praising its excellent location, quirky decor, and comprehensive amenities. The proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants, along with views of the sea and castle, contribute to its charm. While some guests encountered issues with maintenance and cleanliness, the majority enjoyed the unique features such as the steam room, jacuzzi, and music system. The property's multi-level layout and stairs were noted, suggesting it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Cleanliness

Most guests found the cottage to be immaculately clean, with fresh flowers and well-maintained facilities. However, a few guests mentioned areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust on skirting boards and a dirty toilet floor, which slightly lowers the score.

Location

The cottage's location is highly praised for its central position in Criccieth, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The views of the castle and sea are frequently mentioned as highlights, contributing to a high score in this category.

Comfort

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a nice bed and personal touches. Some concerns were raised about the comfort of the living room chairs and the suitability of the property for tall people due to low beams in the bedroom.

Facilities

The facilities, including a steam room, jacuzzi, and music system, are appreciated by guests, though some reported issues with appliances and a lack of instructions for use. Maintenance issues such as a non-working washing machine and difficulties with the music centre have been noted.

Thoughtfulness

Guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper and Christmas decorations, which add to the charm of the cottage. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.
