While there have been minor maintenance issues, the quick response to concerns and the overall charm of the house have left a lasting positive impression on visitors.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness. However, there were isolated comments about long grass, a blocked outdoor shower, and windows needing a clean, which slightly marred the initial impression for some guests. The interior cleanliness seems to be well-maintained, with only minor issues reported.

Fantastic property , well equipped & very comfortable. Everything we needed was there .Lots of games , jigsaws etc loved the upstairs seating area too . Soon after we arrived we noticed a leak from the living room ceiling â¦but after a quick call to the office & visit from a plumber the problem was dealt with within the hour . Great central location, lovely coastal walks to Ceiriad & Llanbedrog & we were very lucky with a rain free weekend . Thankyou & I hope we will return .

By far the best & we have already booked for next year.

We appreciated the kind gesture of fizz & cake etc, many thanks! However, on arrival we were very disappointed to see the grass so long, it obviously hadnât been cut for several weeks. The outside shower was flooded & blocked by leaves, definitely hadnât been checked for some time. This would have been useful to clean sandy boots etc after our beach trips. (Thank you for organising the cleanup of this area the day before we left) The windows are in need of a good clean & these issues spoiled our first impressions of the house. Inside - It was disappointing to see a broken blind in one of the bathrooms & the toilet seat in the main en-suite was worn with bare wood & we felt it unhygienic. It would also be useful to have a mirror in the master bedroom for hair drying. The other bedrooms were well fitted. We were very happy with the overall comfort of the house & the location was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely week in the house & in Abersoch. All of the above concerns were shared with Sykes Cottages office on Monday morning. Emma was very helpful & noted our comments- thank you.
