20minute walk into Porthmadog which is home to the famous Ffestiniog Steam Railway, about 30mins drive to snowdon, all in all a very convenient and very comfortable place to stay to explore Snowdonia. Fiona welcomed us with lots of cake which was much appreciated and was always at the end of the phone if we needed her. I would definitely recommend a stay in Bay View Apartment you will not be disappointed. Diane

The property is clean, cosy and well equipped. The owner is very helpful even taking the trouble to call us at lunch time on the day of arrival to say the property was ready and we could check in anytime. The views over the bay are lovely and I took great pleasure drinking my early morning cuppa sat in one of the comfy rocking chairs in the bay window watching the dog walkers. Borth-Y-Gest is ideal for exploring Snowdonia and you are right on the coastal path.

Apartment felt spacious & well cared for. Access to a parking space in a busy season is useful though the public car park is close by. We had fantastic sunny weather for our September stay & had a lovely week, thank you.
