Cornhill Courtyard in Porthmadog offers a charming stay with stunning harbour views and a convenient location close to local amenities. While the studio apartment is appreciated for its cleanliness and historic character, guests have mixed feelings about the comfort of the sofa bed and the noise from the flat above. Parking is noted as a bonus, though it can be challenging at times.
The apartment generally appears clean, with some guests noting it as spotless. However, a few reviews mention issues with deeper cleaning needs and a lack of cleaning products, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its stunning views of Porthmadog Harbour and proximity to local attractions, shops, and dining. It is considered a highlight and a strong point of the property.
Guests find the sofa bed's comfort variable, with some appreciating the added mattress topper, while others struggle with its functionality. The noise from the flat above is also a concern for some.
Facilities like the kitchen and bathroom are generally well-received, but there are comments about the need for better maintenance, such as securing the washing machine and updating the outdoor furniture.

Positives are the location you canât get better however it ended there for us. On first impression it looks clean however once in we started am-unpacking and found underwear in the draws which makes me think the property wasnât cleaned properly, mouldy rotten fruit in the mop bucket, the vacuum doesnât suck up the filter is blocked it was the same 2 years ago. The bathroom sick leaks again this was like this two years ago. No forks so we had to go and buy some. The garden furniture is broken. The sofa bed is dirty needs replacing as the cushions have completely lost all firmness. Itâs such a shame because all of these things could easily be fixed just needs a bit of TLC.
