Hen Beudy is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and tranquil location. Guests enjoyed the surrounding nature, proximity to the beach, and the cottage's well-equipped amenities. The property's seclusion and the entertaining local sheep added to the charm. Some minor issues were noted, but overall, guests expressed a strong desire to return.
The cottage received high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests commenting on how immaculate and well-presented it was upon arrival. There were a few mentions of cobwebs, but these were minor and did not detract from the overall positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its peace, quiet, and natural beauty, with easy access to the beach and local towns. Some guests mentioned the rough access road and the property being a bit isolated, which could be a concern for some, but overall, the location was considered a strong asset.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed mentioned by several reviewers. However, there were a few comments about the mattress being too firm for some guests' preferences, which slightly affected the comfort score.
The cottage's facilities were generally well-regarded, with guests appreciating the modern equipment and amenities. Some feedback suggested room for improvement, such as the addition of a drying rack, more kitchen storage, and larger glasses. The lack of Wi-Fi was noted, but it was not a significant issue for most guests.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

We enjoyed lots of walking especially along the beach and so did the dog! A good place to recharge the batteries and I would highly recommend it.

The accommodation had everything you'd need for your stay. It was also the ideal central location for the events / places we'd planed to visit. Supermarkets just a short drive into Porthmadog to stock up for the week. The narrow lane in from the main road can be tight at times if passing oncoming traffic but thankfully, it wasn't too busy. Only wish we'd planed to stay for two weeks instead of one. Would highly recommend a holiday at this cottage if planning a trip. Looking forward to our next stay. Mike, Julie & Tia (the dog).

Great walks from the doorstep, including (20 mins) to the vast expanse of Black Rock Sands (you can even drive along the beach and pitch camp right by the waters edge). So much to see and do, will have to come again for all the things we missed out. The only very minor thing lacking with the property, a bit more kitchen cupboard space for groceries would have been useful. Diolch
