The Sail Loft in Porthmadog is highly praised for its stunning views, spacious and well-decorated interiors, and quality fixtures. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, cleanliness, and the property's prime location. While some mention the challenge of stairs and seating for larger groups, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and very clean, indicating a high standard of upkeep.
The location is celebrated for its fantastic views and proximity to local attractions. However, accessibility concerns due to stairs slightly affect the score.
The property is generally found to be comfortable and homely, with high-quality furnishings. Some guests felt the seating was insufficient for larger groups, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are well-regarded, with guests mentioning the well-equipped space and additional amenities. Points are deducted for comments on the need for more seating and bathroom locks.
While guests mention additional items and gifts left by the owners, such as Welsh cakes and milk, there is not enough consistent detail across reviews to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Furnished to a high specification with all the kitchen & dining items you require. The views are spectacular, especially of sunrise over the hills. Easily within walking distance of the station, shops & restaurants. Our only reservations were about the dangerous nature of the stairs inside & out. Part of the kitchen opens directly onto top step, without any guarding. The outside steps were not lit and therefore dangerous in the dark.

The leaving time of 9:00am is also too early. Everything else, including facilities and location is excellent.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing I would like to mention is the late check in and early check out times.
