Guests say

Guests generally find 22 Glyn Y Mor a homely and well-located property, with several praising its proximity to the beach and local amenities. The property is appreciated for its comfortable beds and welcoming touches, such as Welsh cakes and milk on arrival. While some guests have highlighted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The property has received compliments for its cleanliness, but there are mentions of cobwebs and dirty windows. Some guests noted that dishes and cutlery were not as clean as expected. Despite these comments, the general consensus is that the property maintains a good standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, being within walking distance to the beach, pub, and shop. Guests appreciate the quiet neighbourhood and the easy access to local attractions, making it an ideal spot for a holiday.

While many guests find the beds comfortable and the property well-furnished, there are several complaints about the uncomfortable sofa bed and some issues with the heating. Overall, the property is considered comfortable, but there is room for improvement in the lounge seating.

The property is well-equipped, but guests have reported maintenance issues such as a broken oven thermostat, a non-functional log burner, and a lack of cleaning materials. Some guests also missed having a dishwasher. The facilities meet most needs, but attention to maintenance would enhance the experience.

Guests have expressed appreciation for thoughtful touches like the provision of Welsh cakes and milk upon arrival. However, as these gifts are based on personal experiences and may not be consistent for all stays, they should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The beds are singles put together as doubles hard and awful on your back for a decent nights sleep. The futon sofa bed is the most uncomfortable thing to sit on with the tv being high on the wall and totally needs replacing. The log burner was unuseable as the door wouldn’t close and there was no companion set for using it anyway. We were not informed it couldn’t be used which would have been nice to know before we stayed. Oven and kitchen area was not clean, front entrance also dirty when you came into the property. This is the first property we have ever left early from as could no longer stay in it so left three days early ruining our holiday. Would not recommend for others to stay in unless sofa and beds are changed.

Just a little TLC required particularly in kitchen. Thermostat on cooker was broken above about 140C. Hence, the meal we bought to cook on our first night was ruined. Light on extractor fan broken. Lights around cooker not working. The above aside, everything else was very comfortable and generally clean Would stay again
