Guests say

Guests have enjoyed the stunning sea views, spaciousness, and proximity to local amenities from this well-equipped family home. The balcony and BBQ are particular highlights, offering a lovely outdoor space. While some guests have noted areas needing improvement, the property's charm and location continue to attract repeat visits.

The property generally receives praise for its cleanliness, with sparkling white linen and towels mentioned. However, concerns about unwashed bed sheets in one review slightly lower the score.

The location is highly regarded, with the property being within walking distance to the village, beach, and local attractions. The quietness at night is also appreciated, contributing to a restful experience.

The property is described as comfortable, with well-equipped rooms and a cosy atmosphere during bad weather. However, some guests have reported issues with creaky beds and futon-height mattresses, affecting the comfort score.

Facilities like the kitchen and BBQ are well-received, but maintenance issues such as a leaking shower, temperamental toilet, and a non-functional cooker have been reported, indicating a need for attention.

While guests have appreciated the inclusion of beach toys and wetsuits, there is no mention of gifts, and therefore it cannot be determined if thoughtfulness in the form of gifts is a consistent offering.

There were lots of misrepresentations, including stating there was an upstairs room with ensuite. There were chips in lot of cups and main bed had slat broken so mattress was dipping. Final email from Sykes about clearing up was very aggressive. Location was great and house was clean with good facilities

The cooker did not work it poured with smoke and made a horrible noise, I did ring and tell them immediately and they said they would send someone round when they could. Unfortunately this did not happen during our whole stay, so the food we bought for our stay was kept in the freezer . So we had to microwave or eat out, which cost us a fortune. Hopefully this gets sorted

Temperamental toilet flushing. Leaking shower making the bathroom floor very wet. Commencement of noisy construction across the road, making it unpleasant to use the balcony, 268 Cae Du has obviously been a much loved family holiday home, but as a rental property needs some TLC and was not value for money.
