One of Wales' most beautiful places, Llyn Peninsula is best known for its breathtaking coastal walks, superb beaches, and top-notch golf courses. This bustling market town serves as the unofficial capital of the peninsula. Shops, restaurants, and a marina with room for 400 boats abound in this historic seaside town. As a sailing and watersports mecca, it has two beaches that have been awarded a Blue Flag status. Criccieth, with its mediaeval castle, and Abersoch, a charming harbour town known for its superb beaches and watersports facilities, are both within easy driving distance of each other.
The National Trust owns a large portion of the peninsula's coastline, which has secluded bays, sandy beaches, and dramatic clifftop climbs, as well as animal havens like Bardsey Island, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All of Snowdonia, Anglesey, historic castles and National Trust houses and gardens may be found here, as well as the opportunity to simply rest.

The apartment was spotless and we appreciated the welcome pack left. The ring of what I presume was a church clock bell may be an issue for light sleepers but didn't bother us too much. It was nice to be able to relax in the evening with Sky TV available and use of the good WiFi. We only stayed a couple of days but could easily envision staying longer.
