The town of Pwllheli is perfect for families with young children, it has quaint shops and cafés as well as so much for children to do from the usual seaside entertainment to a leisure centre with a whole host of things to do. This town offers shops, pubs and restaurants and a marina holding 400 boats. The town boasts two beaches, one with the Blue Flag Award and is renowned for sailing and watersports. Close by are Criccieth, with its castle, and Abersoch, a harbour town also renowned for beaches and watersports. Much of the peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of the coastline is owned by the National Trust providing bays, sandy beaches and clifftop walks, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island. Loved this little cottage..light airy, spotless, beautifully presented and modern inside. There was everything to make your stay comfortable. Lovely secure back patio and garden for our Westie. Only a few minutes walk from all the amenities of Pwlhelli..parking permit is included in the price.
