Guests say

The Annex in Pwllheli is a well-received cottage, praised for its peaceful location near stunning coastal paths and beaches. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, including a comfy bed and big shower. The property is clean, with a secure garden for pets, and offers a relaxing stay. While some decor is noted as dated, ongoing updates are improving the space. The proximity to local amenities and the welcoming nature of the owner add to the positive experience.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning the need for a deeper clean or the presence of cobwebs. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained in terms of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, coastal paths, and local amenities. Guests enjoy the peaceful setting and the easy access to natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities.

The cottage is generally considered comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed and a large shower. Some guests suggest that the decor is a bit dated in places, but overall, the property provides a cosy and pleasant stay.

Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. However, some guests mention issues with the front door lock, a need for more garden furniture, and a desire for additional plates and dishes. There are also comments about the need for maintenance and updates, which the owner seems to be addressing gradually.

While some guests mention a welcome pack with wine and biscuits, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all reviews. It's important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The whole property could do with a deep clean, just a whip round on changeover day isn’t acceptable.

The local shops were within walking distance and there was a local Community Pub and everyone was so friendly. Possible the only thing missing were good local dog friendly eating places. As other guests have mentioned we did have workmen on site on a few days but they were friendly and courteous and did not cause us any problems at all.
