About this property

Nestled in the charming village of Llithfaen on the breath-taking Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd is Cudfan Fach. This beautiful cottage has been thoughtfully renovated with contemporary appliances and stylish décor while simultaneously retaining its charming features including stone inglenook fireplace and beams; it also benefits from two well-appointed bedrooms and a fantastic location near both the coast and countryside, the perfect setting for small families, friends or couples looking to explore the wonders of North Wales. Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home where you can unwind on the plush L-shaped in front of the Smart TV before venturing into the fully-equipped kitchen. Rustle up tasty meals here that can then be enjoyed at the quaint dining table or outside on the elevated decking which boasts views across the Welsh countryside. Raise a toast to your getaway before stepping inside to wash off the day in the ground-floor shower room before catching up on your sleep in either the double or bunk bedroom. If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic dwelling, find both the local convenience store and the Tafarn Y Fic pub, paces away from the property; a wonderful place to enjoy a well-earned break from the kitchen! Cudfan Fach is also conveniently located near Nant Gwrtheyrn, the Welsh language centre and the coast in Morfa Nefyn; unwind on the glorious, golden shores of Traeth Nefyn and marvel at the breath-taking views across the water. Other notable attractions include Glasfryn Parc which houses an abundance of exciting activities including archery, paddle boarding, kayaking and segwaying, the impressive Castell Criccieth which boasts unbeatable views across Cardigan Bay and the picturesque Eryri National Park (Snowdonia)! All this and more awaits at Cudfan Fach.

Located on the slopes of the Yr Eifl mountain range, the tiny village of Llithfaen has some of the best views on the Llyn Peninsula. Established in 1988, the community-run local pub in the village is known for its warm hospitality and excellent food. Nant Gwrtheyrn, which includes the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and a restaurant, is a short distance from Llithfaen and is known for its beautiful pebble beach. There is a fine, two-mile stretch of sandy beach in the picturesque coastal town of Nefyn, which is located just four miles away and sits atop dramatic cliffs. Pwllheli, Abersoch, and Caernarfon, three popular towns, are easily accessible from the village.

Real lack of basic items one would expect in a holiday rental such as handsoap or fish sponge etc.

We were unfortunately caught during two winter storms during our stay so spent a couple of days indoors! Everything well organised and clean and cosy. We had a lovely stay.

Village pub opened most evenings except Monday and Tuesday, no food served in pub. Small local shop.
