Its proximity to the beach and local amenities adds to its charm, with guests appreciating the peaceful location. The thoughtful touches of a welcome pack were noted, enhancing the homely feel of the property.

Most guests found the property clean, with specific compliments on the well-maintained bathrooms and overall tidiness. However, some noted areas needing attention, such as kitchen cupboards and a musty porch, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to the sea, and local amenities. It's ideal for dog walking and offers easy access to nearby attractions, contributing to a high score.

Guests were generally pleased with the comfort of the property, mentioning cosy bedrooms and a private garden. Some concerns about heating control and a broken bed were noted, but overall, the comfort level was high.

The property's thoughtful gestures, such as a welcome pack with cake and biscuits, were well-received. While these gifts added to the experience, it's important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

About this property

This beautiful semi-detached bungalow, Gorynys, can be found in the Gwynedd coastal village of Morfa Nefyn. Gorynys is a great dog-friendly option for friends, families and couples, as it is located near the beach and within easy reach of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Two off-road parking spots are provided, and there is a sizable, enclosed garden with a shed and patio furniture, perfect for those balmier evenings dining alfresco. There is also a convenient outdoor utility room equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen and serve your culinary creations at the dining table while you rehash the events of the day. After dinner, you have the option of relaxing in the sitting room in front of the electric fireplace while watching a show on the Smart TV with Amazon firestick or moving through to the conservatory to enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down. Next, you'll come across a stylish shower room, perfect for washing away the day's adventures before retiring to one of the three tastefully decorated bedrooms, including two doubles, one with an en suite bathroom, and a bunk room with two bunk beds accessible from a double bedroom. Take a stroll into town and enjoy a meal at the Cliffs restaurant, a day on the golden sands of Traeth Morfa Nefyn, a round of golf at the excellent Nefyn Golf Club, a trip to the convenience store, or a takeout order of fish and chips to enjoy back at Gorynys. The following stop is Pwllheli, where you can relax on Pwllheli Beach, eat at The View, and take a stroll along the marina. A little further afield is Criccieth, which boasts a beautiful castle, beautiful beaches, and the Eisteddfa Fishery. Gorynys is the starting point for exciting new adventures.

Morfa Nefyn, a charming fishing village on the Llyn Peninsula's northern coast, is known for its beautiful two-mile stretch of sandy beach and dramatic cliffs. The town of Morfa Nefyn is home to a couple of great bars and restaurants, as well as a garage, a fantastic village shop, and a cafe. Shops, a post office, bars, and restaurants can be found in neighbouring Nefyn, and travellers can easily reach the conveniences of Pwllheli, Abersoch, and the picturesque village of Boduan. You can go fishing, sailing, or participate in any number of other watersports along this area's picturesque coastline, which is dotted with castles and secluded coves. Just 25 miles away is Snowdonia National Park, which offers breathtaking views, excellent hiking, and a wide variety of outdoor pursuits for the more active traveller. Since the National Trust owns most of the coast, there are plenty of secluded coves, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife sanctuaries like Bardsey Island to discover. Largely had what we needed for our stay. Close to beach and Morfa Nefyn amenities. Parking was very easy (October).

Cottage was comfortable & enclosed garden perfect for kids & dog. Layout with bunk room accessed via double bedroom makes property mist suited to groups with children which we were. We were only left with 1/2 toilet roll in each bathroom & one dishwasher tablet. So slightly more generosity on that front would be a nice touch (spare roll in each toilet & enough dishwasher tabs for one per day). No tea towels either which surprised us as linens & towels were included. Cottage was comfortable & clean. Great to have games for kids. Local shop was convenient. Some lovely walks from the doorstep. Many thanks.
