Pennant Cottage is a beautiful property with fabulous valley views, set a mile from Llithfaen and three miles from Nefyn. Boasting a secluded position with off-road parking and an enclosed run for dogs, Pennant Cottage provides a superb break for families and friends looking to escape to this idyllic Welsh corner. After a day of fell walking, make yourself at home in the sitting room, curling up on the corner sofa and watching a show on the Smart TV. Move into the kitchen, home to a Range cooker, gas hob and American style fridge/freezer, ensuring you are well-appointed for home-cooking. Serve up a tasty meal in the dining room, complimented with an inglenook fireplace housing an electric stove and a further wall-mounted Smart TV. Wander down the hall to find the bedrooms, the master offers a king-size bed with freestanding bath, whilst there is also a double with stunning views onto the valleys. The third bedroom rests upstairs and is a quirky twin, ideal for children. Step outside and enjoy a moment on the patio area, taking in the stunning surroundings, before taking your furry friends for a run about in the enclosed pen. When you’re ready to explore, head to the village of Nefyn for a pint at Y Bryncynan whilst there is also a well-appointed village shop for any essentials. The surrounding area provides excellent walking and sightseeing, full of history, beautiful scenery, and a couple of golden beaches. Take a hike up the imposing Yr Eifl to find the Iron Age Hill Fort of Tre’r Ceiri, boasting panoramic views from the summit. Head further afield to the Snowdonia National Park for adventure at Zip World, Bounce Below and the World Heritage Site of Dinorwic Quarry, plus there’s the mighty Snowdon to tackle. Choose Pennant Cottage for an unforgettable break in a stunning location.
Due to its location on the Yr Eifl mountain range's slopes, the small community of Llithfaen, which is one of the highest communities on the Llyn Peninsula, has some of the best views in the area. The village has a local tavern that was built in 1988 and provides a warm welcome, as well as a village shop run by the local community. Llithfaen is highly proud of its Welsh heritage, and Nant Gwrtheyrn, which also includes a pebble beach, is home to a Welsh Language and Cultural Centre and restaurant. A fine, two-mile stretch of sandy beach that is popular with kids is located in the charming coastal town of Nefyn, which is 4 miles away and perched atop sweeping cliffs. Nefyn also has a decent selection of stores, pubs, and restaurants. The amenities of the well-known towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch, and Caernarfon are all accessible from the village. The Ty Coch pub in adjacent Porth Dinllaen was named the third-best "beach bar" in the world in a June 2013 web feature. There are fishing, sailing, and water sports accessible, and the area's coastline is lined with castles and coves. A 25-mile drive will bring you to the Snowdonia National Park, known for its stunning landscape and numerous excellent hikes. This region is an excellent starting point for a trip to North Wales because it is so close to so many different places.
