Keen golfers can tee off at Abersoch Golf Club, whilst those looking to get their steps in can wander around the Llyn Peninsula, providing stunning coastal views. On your return, visit one of the many well-established restaurants; the Fresh Bar & Grill or The Cove Abersoch are both excellent options. Continue exploring as you head north towards Morfa Nefyn, to follow the RNLI Porthdinllaen National Trust Walk, whilst the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) can be reached in a scenic drive and provides a wealth of outdoor opportunity. The Cottage is the perfect base for your getaway to North Wales.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.

It hadn't been cleaned, with dust, dirt and cobwebs everywhere. All our clothes needed washing went we got home. There were no instructions about bin collection etc, and several light bulbs had blown. Ther was black mould on some walls, an overwhelming smell of damp, out of date food in the freezer and cupboards...including mouldy flour. The cutlery, glasses and kitchen utensils hadn't been properly cleaned and we left a day early as we couldn't stand it any longer. Very surprised and disappointed that it met Sykes criteria for letting out to the public. We certainly won't be returning here again.

Easy walk to both beach and Shops. Could do with a user manual on how to operate heating etc .. but we worked it out eventually..

There was a lot of cobwebs and the windows and outside area were very dirty. I cleaned the front room window as it was hardly letting light in and was sad to look through. We did not use the outdoor seating on the first floor as it was scruffy and unappealing. We did have one issue with a toaster but that was handled quickly and appreciated. It's a shame as it could be a beautiful cottage but needs refreshing and new beds and mattresses in the twin bedroom. The location is good
