Keen hikers can head to Sugar Loaf (7 miles), while nearby Abergavenny (2.5 miles) has some fantastic pubs and restaurants, and is a wonderful base for exploring the eastern Brecon Beacons. Local attractions include Tretower Court and Castle, Big Pit National Coal Museum, Goytre Wharf, Clydach Gorge and Raglan Castle, all within 15 miles.
