About this property

Situated in a breathtaking spot 1,000 feet above sea level, this beautiful cottage makes a fabulous base for walkers, climbers and nature lovers keen to explore the eastern fringes of the Brecon Beacons. With opportunities to spot buzzards and red kites, the property also offers stunning views towards Sugar Loaf. Offering cosy accommodation for two guests, this delightful retreat is one of a pair of properties which can be booked together, and features a shared heated indoor swimming pool. With a wood burner, timber beams and a picturesque garden, the property also has stabling for guests bringing horses along to explore the area’s spellbinding expanses.

Entering this sweet, inviting cottage, the airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a perfect space to relax in after a great day out. The cosy lounge has a wood burner effect electric fire and comfortable seating so you can snuggle up to chat about the day or watch a movie. The kitchen is perfect for cooking your favourite dishes which you can enjoy around the dining table to the side. Upstairs, the first floor offers a shower room and a characterful twin bedroom with low ceilings – this room can be made up as a super-king-size on prior request. Outside, the enclosed front patio makes a pleasant spot for taking in stunning views. You will have access to the shared heated indoor swimming pool (opens early April - early November), and there’s a larger shared garden with seating areas, flower beds and ponds, providing a tranquil space to unwind in.
