The spacious kitchen/diner is another wonderful place where you’ll want to spend time, lingering at the farmhouse-style dining table after a delicious meal prepared in the high-quality kitchen. Off this room you’ll find the utility room with a washing machine. The three bedrooms are all on the first floor: one twin, a king-size and a double. All the bedrooms have en-suites, and there is also a separate WC. The enclosed gardens to the front and back are great for children and pets to roam, plus there’s a patio area with a dining set that’s perfect for sundowners and al fresco suppers.

In a peaceful location beside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, the house is a great base for walkers, who can access the Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge within 10 miles. Alternatively, simply wander along the canal to picturesque Goytre Wharf, where you can take a picnic, have a cup of tea in the cafe or hire a canoe or boat. The market towns of Abergavenny and Crickhowell are 3 miles and 8 miles respectively and, for a family day out, the Big Pit at Blaenavon is just 6 miles.
