This cosy detached stone-built cottage is situated next to the owner’s home, in the quiet village of Trellech on the outskirts of Monmouth in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This welcoming cottage is the ideal base for couples or small families wishing to explore this wonderful area all year round. There is a well-equipped kitchen and the cosy sitting room with dining area is the perfect place to relax in and enjoy your meals at the end of a busy day exploring the various attractions this area has to offer. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms, the single room may be better suited to a child or young adult. Outside sit and relax on the patio with a cold drink and plan the next day’s adventures. The amenities of the village of Trellech are a short drive/walk away and include a local shop and pub. The beautiful surrounding area offers many lovely walks and cycle routes, whilst a short drive will take you to the historic towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye, or why not explore the cathedral city of Gloucestershire? This delightful cottage offers warm and welcoming accommodation for your break in this spectacular area.

An intriguing market town on the border between Wales and England and close to the exceptional Offa’s Dyke, this wonderful town combines old and new, from the old castle ruins to the vibrant weekly market. Located at the confluence of 3 rivers – the Wye, the Monnow and the Trothy, it is an excellent base to enjoy river boating, scenic walks and a little shopping too, or to simply sit and relax on the edge of the river on sunny afternoons.

    It is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The setting is lovely with lots to do in the local area .The owners are on site and very welcoming and helpful. Milk.tea,coffee eggs and a lovely treat of a bottle of proseco were provided which made us feel very welcom Thank you

    A very comfortable bed and had the benefit of two bathrooms. Superb food at friendly pub in the village. Could be a bit noisy at times with joy riding bikers speeding past but didn't bother us. Jean was a very obliging host and we hope to return to the area in the future
