Watch your favourite shows on the TV/DVD on chilly eveningsor take your glasses of bubbles out to the hammock to gaze at the blanket of stars. A contemporary shower room completes the property. Its power shower is fabulous for washing off muddy paws at the end of each day.

The small picturesque town of Usk (5 miles) is well worth a visit, with its charming old-fashioned buildings, a Norman castle, antique shops and some welcoming restaurants and pubs. Take in the sights and sounds of the many scenic landscapes and nature trails available from your doorstep, or venture over to Abergavenny (17 miles) for locally produced food, historic attractions and the incredible backdrop of the Black Mountains overlooking the town. Alternatively, have a game of 18 holes at Monmouthshire Golf Club (15 miles) or take a trip through time at Tintern Abbey (15 miles).
