Enjoy the countryside on your doorstep from the remarkable, detached house, Y Felin at Coed Cadw in Felindre Farchog near Newport, Pembrokeshire. Within easy reach of Pembrokeshire's coast, whilst enjoying a large garden, original stone flooring and beautiful woodwork throughout, along with ample off-road parking, Y Felin at Coed Cadw makes for a wonderful setting for a family of four's getaway. As you enter the property, you will be delighted to find a beautifully laid out kitchen/diner, a space enjoying a vaulted ceiling, embellished with rustic beams, as well as a range of fantastic appliances, including a dishwasher and electric cooker, where the foodie of the group can whip up mouthwatering delights, to be enjoyed at the oak dining table. After dinner, wander down a few steps to find yourself in a welcoming sitting room, where you can settle down with a book in front of the toasty wood burning stove, or grab a DVD from the selection available, and savour a family movie night. When night falls, progress through the ground floor to find a well-appointed twin room, with a patio door not only streaming light into the space, but leading directly to the quaint, rear garden; or climb the bespoke stairs to find a lovely double room, where the vaulted ceiling and skylights give the space a bright and airy feel, along with a handy, en-suite cloakroom. The family bathroom is situated downstairs and enjoys marble tiling, along with a p-shaped bath, where you can savour a moment of peace and quiet amongst the bubbles. The rear garden is a delightful spot, with an extendable windbreaker to give you some extra privacy, as you grill some tasty treats on the barbecue, to be enjoyed at one of two seating areas; why not settle down around the fire pit, before enjoying a tranquil evening in the hot tub? Or alternatively, take a 5 minute stroll down to the excellent local Salutation Inn. Ample walking trails surround the property, and you can traverse one of these with ease, thanks to the kindly provided ordinance maps pointing you towards the nearby landmarks of the Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber, the remains of Nevern Castle and the Castell Henllys Iron Age Village. Travel to Newport for the day, where you can not only find your amenities resting in one setting, but you can also soak up the sun at Newport Beach, try your hand at sailing with the Newport Boat Club, wander through the River Nevern Wildfowl Conservation Area, or embark on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. For more fun by the coast, venture to Fishguard, where you can walk to Fishguard Fort, or follow the Marine Walk round to Ocean Lab and Fishguard Harbour, or board the ferry to Ireland, for a day out in Rosslare Harbour!
