Guests say

Meadow View is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped facilities, including a games room that is a hit with both adults and children. The property is described as a comfortable 'home from home', well-maintained, and in a good location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Guests appreciate the large garden and the property's suitability for family stays.

Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'well looked after' and 'so clean'. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stays.

The property's location is commended for being central and within close proximity to local amenities and attractions, provided guests can drive. Its privacy and quiet setting are also appreciated.

Reviewers find Meadow View comfortable, with enough space and facilities for both individual quiet time and group activities. The presence of a games room and comfortable furniture in the lounge, including recliners, adds to the overall comfort.

The property is well-stocked and equipped, offering a games room, BBQ, and a well-equipped kitchen. However, there is a mention of a 'somewhat complicated list of what to do with rubbish' and a note on the scarcity of hand towels, suggesting minor room for improvement.

While the reviews are positive about the property and the owners' helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would fall under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

About this property

Positioned in the quaint village of Letterston in South Wales, rests this lovely, four-bedroom home, Meadow View. Just a short drive away from the town of Haverfordwest and hosting a first-floor games room, this holiday home is an ideal base for a family adventure to Wales. On arrival, discover ample off-road parking before entering the back garden, where you can enjoy a cup of tea in the sunshine. Step inside to the kitchen/diner, where the chef of the group can make use of the electric oven and hob to prepare delicious meals, which can be enjoyed together at the dining table. Moving through the home, locate the sitting room; here you can admire the warmth of the woodburning stove as the TV plays your favourite shows. Head into the reading room to escape into the pages of a book or if the weather is nice, venture outside onto the garden, where a barbecue offers alternative dining arrangements. As the evening cools, retire inside and climb upstairs to the first floor to have some family-fun in the games room, where you can test your putting skills with a game of pool. Indulge in a moment of relaxation in the bathroom adjacent to prepare for the adventures ahead. The first floor also hosts a double bedroom with far-reaching countryside views and to discover three more bedrooms, venture downstairs to choose between another two more doubles, one with an en-suite, as well as a twin bedroom. Awaken with a hearty breakfast in the kitchen/diner, as coffee is poured and plans are made for the exciting day ahead. A short stroll will lead you to the award-winning eatery, Something's Cooking, for fresh fish and chips for when you fancy a break from cooking and two pubs, where you can enjoy local ales. Jump in the car to explore the local attractions, with Llys y Frân Country Park & Reservoir for a cycle or walk, tour the Victorian museum at Scolton Manor or spend the afternoon at Scolton Park. Visit the ancient town of Haverfordwest, home to a 12th-century castle and the Welsh Spire Museum to immerse yourself in the past, or if that's not your taste, tee up at Haverfordwest Golf Club. Make the most of your location near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where a range of gorgeous beaches can be found dotted along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, from Barafundle Beach a tropical beach, thanks to its white sands and turquoise waters, North Beach with its large stretch of sand ideal for sunbathing, to the secluded shore of Aberfforest Beach. For long-lasting memories in Wales, consider Meadow View.

Letterston is a village featuring two pubs, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a petrol station with general shop, a newsagents, a butcher, and a Post Office on each side of the main road from Haverfordwest to Fishguard. Because there is no physical centre, the amenities are dispersed along the main road and down side roads, making this a unique community. This rambling community is in an ideal location, providing easy access to everything Pembrokeshire has to offer.

A property that is well looked after with plenty of parking, in a quiet location. Would certainly recommend it.

It is spacious and comfortable and well provided with everything we needed. It is also very well located for exploring this area. We were an extended family group of 8, five adults and three children, and the games room was great for keeping the children occupied when we were not out exploring. We would be very happy to return.
