The Duck House is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and peaceful rural setting. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the hosts and the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and fresh flowers. Its location is ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire's stunning beaches and countryside. While some guests mention limitations for dogs off-lead and occasional maintenance issues, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The majority of guests have found the cottage to be very clean and well-presented, with several reviews specifically mentioning the cleanliness as a positive aspect. There was a single mention of a dirty lounge mat, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is frequently described as peaceful and rural, a short drive from beautiful beaches and attractions. However, a few guests noted the lack of nearby off-lead walks for dogs, which slightly impacted the location's perfect score.
Guests have commented on the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere of the cottage, particularly enjoying the warmth and the log burner. There were a few mentions of restricted space in the double bedroom and a suggestion for a grab rail in the bathroom, indicating room for improvement.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a great shower and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with hot water and suggested improvements in maintenance, such as the addition of a grab rail and updating kitchen utensils.
The hosts are consistently praised for their thoughtfulness, with many guests mentioning the welcome packs, dog treats, and fresh flowers. It is important to note that while these gifts are highly appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage was so clean on arrival. It's the first time I've been away and not had to clean things straight away. It had everything you could need for a pleasant stay. It was enclosed for the dogs and had a paddock to use for guests too.

We had such a fabulous time and left totally relaxed. The cottage has everything you need and clean. Good location to explore Pembrokeshire. We would 100% stay again.
