Guests say

Hillbrook House is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-stocked kitchen, and superb location by the sea. Guests appreciate the comfortable setting, ideal for family gatherings, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome basket. The property's proximity to the beach and private parking are standout features, and the additional lounges and garden with a fire pit add to the enjoyment. While some mention a need for additional bathrooms, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviews consistently mention that Hillbrook House is spotlessly clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. The property was described as well-maintained, with guests noting the extra cleaning measures during the pandemic.

The location receives exceptional praise for being close to the beach and serving as a great base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. The convenience of having a beach and scenic walks right on the doorstep is frequently highlighted.

Guests find the house comfortable, with plenty of space for large groups and multiple generations. The beds are described as comfortable, and the various lounges provide ample room for relaxation. However, a few guests noted that some bedrooms felt cramped and additional bathrooms would be beneficial.

The house is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and guests appreciate the availability of beach equipment. The presence of a fire pit and BBQ in the garden is also noted positively. Some minor maintenance issues were mentioned, such as a blocked sink and a broken door handle.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of a welcome basket and the availability of beach equipment. Guests felt well-cared for and valued the extra touches. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Just one minor point the door handle on one of the rooms was broken. The location is superb right next to the beach. Very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended just bring spare toilet roll as we ran out.

Owners couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating to meet our needs. Beds super comfy, house spacious and well furnished. A couple of maintenance issues; one blocked sink and bedroom door handle broken but owner informed and insures us it will be rectified asap. The morning swim in the cove was just heaven, will definitely look to return.
