About this property

Rock House is a wonderful three-bedroom stone-built cottage resting in Broad Haven in Pembrokeshire. Enjoying a stunning location along Pembrokeshire’s scenic coastline and just moments away from the beautiful Broad Haven Beach, Rock House is a fantastic pet-friendly base for a group or family of six, plus their canine companions, who are looking for their next adventure to Wales. Step into the welcoming living/dining room, where you can look forward to tucking into long, lazy dinners over a bottle of wine at the dining table for six, followed by a relaxing evening spent in front of a much-loved film on the TV. The budding chef of the group will have all they need to whip up mouth-watering meals in the well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher so time isn’t wasted doing chores! Before the evening grows dark, head down to the beach where your four-legged friends can stretch their legs and play a game of fetch and watch the sunset. Climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find steps up to the shower room, and the other a well-presented double and a twin bedroom. Continue onto the second floor, where you will discover the final bedroom, a spacious double with exposed stonework, Velux windows and TV, ideal for those leisurely Sunday mornings. Why not sit out and enjoy the morning sun with a coffee in the front patio area where there is a bench and a table with chairs for all of your relaxation needs? The property also offers a rear gravelled patio area located up a number of steps and beyond this a garden on a steep hillside which does afford beautiful views across the valley but is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Explore the local village, where just a short walk away, you will find the welcoming Galleon Inn, where you can indulge in a tasty pub lunch, as well as the charming Bay café where you can grab a light bite. For when you do feel like cooking, there is a well-stocked convenience store a stone’s throw away where you can gather up ingredients. Spend a day on the glorious Blue Flag sands of Broad Haven Beach, where you can bathe, paddle the shores, or try your hand at surfing, with a surf shop nearby for stocking up on essentials. After an action-packed day, treat your loved ones to dinner (with a view) at The Galleon or take a stroll along the Beach at low tide around to Little Haven to try there range of Pub Grub. Walkers will delight at the close proximity of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, spanning for 186-miles where you can expect to spot the local wildlife, idyllic beaches and incomparable views from the coves and clifftops. Cant fault the cleanliness and location which is a 2 minute walk from the beach. There is a nice gated area at the front which was perfect for our dog to chill in while being completely safe. Will look forward to coming back in the future.

Parking was easy .The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make the house a perfect holiday home and it was spotless on arrival. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen so well equipt. The welcome guide explains how everything works really clearly. The garden is lovely too ,great to watch the world go by from the benches in the front and a real late afternoon suntrap at the back in the most comfortable garden chairs! The house is literally 2 minutes stroll from the beautiful beach and on a rainy afternoon quick to get back to! We have stayed in a lot of self catering houses over the years but this is my favourite by far-we hope to be back next year!
