Guests say

Tlws Bach is a well-equipped, spacious cottage in South Wales, appreciated for its comfort, quiet location, and proximity to the Pembrokeshire coast. Guests enjoyed the modern amenities, powerful shower, and reliable Wi-Fi, with some noting the property as a home from home. While most found it clean, a few reported cleanliness issues on arrival.

Most guests found Tlws Bach clean and well-maintained, though there were several mentions of specific cleanliness issues upon arrival, such as dirty floors and dusty furniture. These incidents seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, but they have impacted the overall perception of cleanliness.

The cottage's location is generally praised for its quietness and proximity to the West Wales coastline and beaches. However, some guests noted it is a bit remote and not within walking distance to local amenities, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

Guests found the beds and sofas comfortable, with spacious rooms adding to the overall comfort. However, there were a few negative comments about bed comfort and sagging sofas, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The property is well-equipped with a range of cooking equipment, a large TV, and a high-pressure hot shower. Some guests suggested additional items like a tumble dryer and a tea pot, but overall, the facilities were highly regarded.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the owner in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, while guests may find thoughtful touches during their stay, these are not guaranteed and have not been reviewed.

Its located on an estate of similar properties in Cuffern which is over a mile away from Roch and is not really within walking distance as its down a narrow unlit lane. The property is spacious but generally in need of some TLC. For example, the paving/patio area needs jet washing, the picnic bench is green and covered with algae so we couldn't sit on it. No other outside seating is provided. Some areas inside the property also need attention. Floor tiles in the kitchen and bathroom need a deep clean, the shower doesn't drain properly and the freezer needs defrosting. The toilet seat was hanging off which my husband fixed! Table tops had not been wiped over and there was lots of dust on window sills, blinds and skirtings. Maybe the owner should speak to the property management company regarding these issues. With regard to comfort, the sofas are sagging and uncomfortable and the mattress on the king size bed is very hard despite the mattress topper. You'll need to take everything you need for cooking as only salt and pepper is provided. Some useful additions in the kitchen would be containers for storing food, cling film, pint glasses and ice cube trays. On a positive note, Pembrokeshire is a beautiful area of Wales with lots of lovely beaches such as Barafundle Bay, Broad Haven, White Sands Bay, Newport Beach. Its also worth taking a trip over the Preseli Mountains for the lovely views. Also, the pub in Roch, the Victoria In Brewhouse, has a micro-brewery and is well worth a visit but you'll need to drive there from the property.

It’s quite spacious and comfortable. The location is great with plenty of parking space and I particularly appreciated the garage where I kept my bicycle. The immediate area is very pleasant and quiet yet not far from Haverfordwest for the shops. The only thing I didn’t like was basin in the bathroom which was impractically small
