There is a well-equipped kitchen with a utility area and dining space to enjoy evening meals together. The double bedroom is light and airy and overlooks the front garden. Outside there is plenty of parking space and a lawned area where you can sit on the bench and enjoy your morning cup of tea within the peaceful surroundings. From the cottage there is are local paths which lead down to the nearby estuary which is a fantastic spot for birdwatching. Within the village is a local shop and if you fancy a drink or a meal out there are lots of options nearby. Haverfordwest has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and also offers the attractions of a castle, museum and leisure centre. This cottage is a fantastic base within the centre of Pembrokeshire which has a large choice of days out available including visiting the many beaches, Folly Farm, wildlife areas, many National Trust properties, Picton Castle and Stackpole Quay to name a few. You will find yourselves needing to return to Swinhay to see and do everything in this area.

The charming village of Hook is set on the banks of the Western Cleddau and is surrounded by woodland making this a fantastic countryside retreat. Previously a mining village, Hook offers a social club and a shop which will provide for your basic needs. Four an a half miles away is Haverfordwest, the county town of Pembrokeshire with quaint little gift shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and a vibrant night life. Haverfordwest sits at the mouth of the River Cleddau and with its castle, museum and large leisure complex it is a great day out for all the family.
