Engulfed by the unbridled beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast, this magnificent South Wales property invites small families and couples to experience stunning scenery and plenty of seaside delights. The beach chalet is less than 500 metres from the pristine sands of Freshwater East, inviting visitors to swim, surf and sunbathe just moments from home. It’s not just a holiday destination for sunny stays, however, with the incredible Pembrokeshire Coast Path presenting miles-upon-miles of scenery to be explored on a hike come rain or shine. If you are caught in a blast of wet weather, you’ll eagerly look forward to returning home to the cosy appeal of your cottage as each day draws to a close.
Sociable, light and airy, this two-storey cottage is a space for relaxation. Let yourselves into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with cooking facilities and space to dine, neatly separated from the inviting living room with its plush L-shaped sofa. There’s a TV/DVD here to fill your nights with entertainment, along with an array of books and board games that you might prefer instead. Moving upstairs, a double and a bunk bedroom invite restful nights, both served by the well-appointed family bathroom beside them. To complete the property, find an enclosed patio at the rear with outdoor furniture – the perfect spot for an al fresco morning coffee or evening meal.
This portion of the Pembrokeshire Coast is awash with small coves and golden sand beaches just waiting to be discovered, so wander west to Barafundle Bay Beach (3.5 miles) or east to Swanlake Beach (2.5 miles) to admire the inspirational scenery that lies between them. The area’s largest town, Pembroke (4.5 miles), is also just a short drive away. This locale will offer plenty to do, complete with a historic castle and a selection of shops, pubs and cafes.

Wonderful chalet by the beach in a quiet location. All freshly done inside and spotlessly clean throughout. Brand new towels and kitchen items. Internet was fast, smart TV was great. Welcome pack of milk, Welsh cakes, tea, and coffee was brilliant. Car space is round corner from chalet. Very cosy and spacious rain or shine, and just a well thought out layout. Had plenty of space to relax and play, especially the large patio out back! Had everything you need for a family beach holiday. We had a great family holiday here - thank you. We can't wait to stay again!

Fantastic location, not far from NT Stackpole estate and fantastic walks, Manorbier castle and Tenby. Freshwater East beach was v windy, but if you walk to the very far end there are some lovely sheltered sandy sections around low tide. Cottage was comfortable and well equipped, large smart TV, decent shower, quiet and clean. But I couldn’t get the heater to work, it lacked oven gloves and a bath mat, and all the chests of drawers smelt musty inside so couldn’t unpack clothes. Was still being cleaned when I arrived and I couldn’t get in until after 4pm when it was supposed to be ready by 3pm. I would still consider staying here again though for the location.
