Guests say

Curlew Cottage in Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, is a well-loved and characterful property that offers a comfortable and homely experience. Guests appreciate its quirkiness, the well-equipped kitchen, efficient heating, and cosy open fire. The beautiful garden, proximity to beaches, and local attractions are consistently praised. The cottage's charm and the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of a cot and highchair, make it a welcoming stay for visitors.

The cottage is mentioned as warm and clean, indicating that guests find the cleanliness to a high standard. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest that it is well-maintained.

The location is highly praised for its central position to nearby attractions, beautiful village, beach, and coastal walks. The convenience to local amenities like shops and pubs adds to the positive experience.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, noting the firm mattress and efficient heaters. However, one review suggests it is best suited for four adults, indicating that comfort may be compromised for larger groups.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi and TV reception, and appreciation for the Aga. The new shower is also a highlight. However, the comment on parking difficulty suggests some room for improvement.

While guests express gratitude for the welcoming nature of the cottage and mention delicious biscuits, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that while some guests received a warm welcome, such gifts are not guaranteed.

We loved this cosy welcoming cottage as a base for walking holiday. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and having two showers was very useful. The location was ideal with an easy walk to the castle and beach. The local pub provided excellent food and I would recommend booking as was always very busy. In all the cottage provided all we needed and we would be very happy to return.

Details of parking could be clearer. it is not the easiest of access, especially if you have a family vehicle. We loved the cottage! Traditional and comfortable with all we needed. Excellent outdoor space to relax in. 2 stunning bedrooms. Perfect location for a coastal holiday.
