As a family of 4 adults 3 children and two dogs, we found we had plenty of room without being under each others feet. The cottage was clean and well furnished but we did struggle to fit all of us around the dining table, saying that all four of us adults are on the large size. The owners were very welcoming and although they live on site they were not intrusive at all, a problem we have had at other properties. I would certainly return but next time could you provide better weather.
