The Hideaway in Narberth receives high praise for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and thoughtful touches, including welcome packs. Guests appreciate the well-maintained site, comfortable accommodation, and the proximity to local attractions and beaches. While most feedback is positive, some guests suggest updates to mattresses and kitchenware.
Guests consistently describe the lodge as very clean and well-presented, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One mention of a dog urine smell suggests a minor issue, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is praised for its tranquillity, beautiful surroundings, and accessibility to beaches and walks. It is described as ideal for both relaxation and exploration, contributing to a positive experience.
The lodge is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with a warm atmosphere. However, several guests mention that the mattresses could be improved, indicating that while comfort is generally good, there is room for enhancement.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a comprehensive information folder and thoughtful amenities. Criticisms include the need for a larger fridge/freezer, more crockery, and updated kitchenware, suggesting that while facilities are adequate, some updates are necessary.
The welcome packs and hampers are frequently mentioned and appreciated, reflecting a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
