But for us,the overpowering and unpleasant smell of mustiness everywhere except the kitchen, which could not be dispelled with heating on, woodburner lit, incense, and windows open, was too much. We left after three days.

There was a smell of damp when we opened the front door We thought that the duvets on the beds were too heavy and beds werenât that comfortable No milk left to make a cup of tea when we arrived ,but position of bungalow excellent and very quiet

Good location with views of the coast, 10 mins walk, and also 10 mins into the village. Obviously a family home with many interesting features, books, photographs etc. very comfortable beds. We had a cold week so the log burning stove was welcome, we took our own logs but there was a good supply available. Newport is a lovely village in a scenic area with many walks and places of interest. Good food at the Castle Hotel. A slight downer was my husbands allergy to dogs which showed itself strongly all week, can only assume there had been one or more in the bungalow the week before, but that is just bad luck. Margaret
