Guests say

Panteg Cottage in Newport is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its excellent location near the town and beach, with comfortable furnishings and a secure garden. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the cottage's cleanliness, though some minor maintenance issues are noted. The property is ideal for dog owners and those looking to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire area.

The cottage is generally described as clean and well-kept, with several reviews highlighting its tidiness. However, a few comments about specific cleaning details slightly affect the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local shops, cafes, and scenic walks, particularly the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Its central position in Newport and access to beaches make it a standout feature.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with mentions of a cosy living space and comfortable beds. The warmth of the cottage is also noted, although there are suggestions for additional convenience facilities.

The cottage is well-equipped, but several reviews mention minor maintenance issues such as lighting and the need for an additional toilet. The garden's condition and the presence of a vacuum cleaner are also discussed.

While guests mention the provision of a fruit bowl and tea bags, there is no consistent reference to gifts or additional thoughtful touches being provided, so it is not possible to accurately score this category.

Comfortable beds and pleasantly decorated. The lighting in the kitchen is a little on the low side and the TV interesting in it’s eccentricity.. it would be nice to solve that unless it’s due to outside conditions.

This is the third time we have been and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It has everything you need, the location is superb and the private, enclosed garden is an added bonus. We shall certainly make a return visit.
