Guests say

Ty Fferm is a well-received cottage in Newport, praised for its spaciousness, ideal location, and the helpfulness of the owner, Roger. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to the beach and coastal paths, as well as its suitability for dogs and children. The peaceful environment and comfortable furnishings contribute to a restful stay, although there was a minor issue with cleanliness upon arrival.

The cottage was generally well-regarded for cleanliness, but there was an incident involving dead flies on a window ledge. The owner acknowledged the issue, attributing it to the time of year, and it appears to be an isolated event.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, easy access to the beach, coastal paths, and the town of Newport. The peaceful and quiet surroundings enhance the appeal of the cottage's location.

Guests found the cottage very comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and the convenience of having two bathrooms. The property is also deemed suitable for dogs and young children.

The facilities are described as well-equipped and maintained, with guests noting the usefulness of the central heating and the practicality of the flagstone floors. However, no specific mention of maintenance issues or the state of facilities was made, preventing a perfect score.

While the reviews reflect positively on the owner's helpfulness and advice, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be evaluated under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Lovely views of the sea. Easy reach of coastal path, beaches and Newport. Roger was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was spacious yet extremely cosy. The bed so comfortable, some of the best nights sleep I've had. Did not want to leave and would thoroughly recommend.

Cottage is simply furnished with flag stone floor downstairs, ideal for dogs or young children. 2 staircases and 2 bathrooms made it very convenient ! Lovely to hear a little stream by the back door. Other cottages and campsite were just as nice and environment was peaceful and quiet. Roger (owner) was very welcoming and let us know about the rubbish recycling. His advise to go to the coastal path and walk down to the little stony beach below the cottage was well received. Thanks for a great stay, looking forward to returning to Pembrokeshire explore futher. Lovely area not too busy and beaches were fabulous !

The owner - Roger - has thought of everything you could possibly want. It was spacious but homely and the central heating was a godsend after a long windy walk on the cliffs. We will definately be returning to hopefully enjoy some sunshine next time!
