Newport is a stunning seaside town in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales, located on the River Nevern. It has a variety of shops, restaurants, and tea rooms in addition to an exceptional golf course with views of the ocean and a charming protected harbour. Newport is located along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is well-known across the world for its distinctive scenery and fantastic chances to see dolphins and seals. An all-year-round walker's paradise are the wonderful coastal treks along the trail or in the adjacent Preseli Hills with the always changing scenery. Visit the numerous mills, craft centres, and castles strewn around the county to learn about history, or spend the day at the magnificent Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort to get a firsthand understanding of what it was like to live at that time.
