About this property

Resting centrally in Pembroke Dock, a historic town in Pembrokeshire is The Coach House, a fabulous two-bedroom townhouse. Enjoying a stylish snug, nestled by Velux windows and botanical planters, an open-plan living space, and a wonderful location near a host of eateries, pubs, shops and the dock, the property offers the ideal base for a family getaway, inviting four guests. Unload your luggage on the roadside before entering the living space, adorning a well-equipped kitchen, a four-seater dining table, and a plush leather corner sofa, where you can prepare and enjoy meals as a group, whilst relaxing in front of the electric fire. For some peace and quiet, venture to the first floor and discover the snug, flooded with natural light through the impressive Velux windows, also featuring a Smart TV and electric fire; the ideal space to delve into a good book. Choose to refresh in the sleek ground-floor shower room, or if you'd prefer a soak, take advantage of the bathroom, housing an indulgent Jacuzzi bath, before climbing into one of two double beds on offer. Awaken to an itinerary brimming with activity, with a wealth of local cafés and restaurants to visit, alongside touring the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, or enjoying a round of golf at South Pembrokeshire Golf Club. Heading into the county, tour the grand structure of Pembroke Castle, or enjoy a stroll around The Mill Pond, before travelling towards Milford Haven, stopping off at the remains of Lamphey Bishops Palace / Llys yr Esgob Llandyfái, and the exhilarating Oakwood Theme Park on route. Reach Milford Haven's waterfront for a true seascape, where you can brush up on your local knowledge at the nearby museum, dine upon the shoreline, or lounge upon the golden stretch of sandy terrain. Experience all of this at The Coash House.

Pembroke Dock, also known as Doc Penfro in Welsh, is a lovely town with the gurgling River Cleddau running through it, located just northwest of the city centre of Pembroke. With a larger population than Pembroke itself, the town offers a variety of pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, parks, a train station, a heritage centre, and an impressive dockyard. The town also has historic elements thanks to the construction of the Royal Navy Dockyard, which dates back to the 1800s. You may reach the picturesque town of Neyland by crossing the Cledday Bridge. Neyland is home to several sporting organisations, including the Neyland Cricket Club, Neyland RFC, Neyland AFC, and a well-liked yacht club by the marina.

Parking free and easy to find in Park Street. The Coach House is a bit querky but actually we found the landing sofa and tv very useful and pleasant to sit in. The screen provided is also very useful as the front door is fully glazed. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom beautiful- Spa bath luxurious. Downstairs shower very good too as long as the bath upstairs is not being filled at same time. Second bedroom could do with some bedside lamps. Our only minor complaint was that one of the frying pans had not been washed but was in the cupboard so maybe previous owners left it and cleaners missed it. Easily rectified but not what you expect. Wine, milk, tea, coffee, sugar , biscuits and crisps left for us were much appreciated. A nice touch. We have used Sykes Cottages twice now and have been impressed both times by the quality of the properties.
