Guests say

Captiva Cottage in Saundersfoot is praised for its excellent location, spaciousness, and well-equipped nature, making it ideal for families and large groups. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the beach, as well as the property's charm and cleanliness, despite a few mentions of maintenance needs.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-kept, though there were isolated comments about floors not being mopped, the presence of dog hair, and a smell of dog urine. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is consistently lauded for being close to the centre of Saundersfoot, with easy access to shops, pubs, restaurants, and the beach, making it an ideal spot for visitors.

The cottage is generally considered comfortable and well-decorated, with a marine/seaside vibe. Some guests noted that certain beds could be more comfortable, and the presence of only one bathroom was occasionally inconvenient for larger groups.

Facilities are highly regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped with technology and amenities for entertainment. However, there were minor issues with garden furniture and a suggestion for more kitchen workspace. A few maintenance issues were raised, such as the need for a second bathroom and some furniture repairs.

While many reviews express appreciation for the cottage's amenities and decor, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be given for this category.

Great beautiful and clean only to sit outside steps to dangerous.

Couple of tweaks needed eg mattress in front room very hard, pots & pans over used need replacing, tv remote (standby button) temperamental. Garden could be an issue for anyone with mobile disabilities! Definitely one of the better cottages we have stayed in.
