Guests say

Guests have praised Tremynydd Fawr for its traditional charm, spaciousness, and warm atmosphere. The large, secure garden is frequently mentioned as a highlight, particularly for dog owners. Its proximity to the coastal path and scenic views are appreciated, as is the attentive nature of the owner. Some minor maintenance issues and a desire for more modern lounge furnishings were noted, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with guests expressing satisfaction with the level of cleanliness. There are no significant complaints or issues raised regarding cleanliness, indicating a high standard is maintained.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to the coastal path, and scenic views. It is described as ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire and enjoying the countryside, although some noted it is not within easy walking distance to the beach.

Guests find the farmhouse very comfortable, with super comfy beds and a warm environment. However, some guests mentioned that the lounge furnishings could be more modern and comfortable, and one review noted an issue with bed springs in a smaller room.

The property is well-equipped with necessary facilities, and the owner is responsive to issues such as a power cut and a failed DVD player. However, guests have suggested improvements in kitchen utensils and mentioned minor maintenance issues like light bulbs and water pressure.

While guests appreciate the attentiveness of the owner and the provision of facilities, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Mrs Rees the owner was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Shall definitely be stating again in the future.

We really loved the garden too, and the ease of access to the coastal path. What would be very helpful is to have some kitchen basics. There was no tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil or washing powder. There were not enough dishwasher tablets for the duration of our stay either. Given it is a remote property, a pint of milk on arrival to enable a hot drink to be made would be even better!

Nice comfy lounge. Heating was a bit noisy and not an ideal house for anyone with mobility issues as 2 bathrooms on ground floor and 1 bathroom upstairs but a couple of steps down from the top of the staircase. Loved the fact that the house was off the beaten track, so about 10 mins drive to the nearest shop/beach but very peaceful area and lovely bath! Also some great views of the sea if you walk the track behind the house between the fields that takes you to the coastal path.
