Guests say

Rose Cottage in St. Dogmaels is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its excellent location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the thoughtful touches from the owners, such as welcome gifts. The property is described as spacious, tastefully decorated, and a 'home from home', with easy access to local amenities, scenic walks, and friendly village life.

Most guests found Rose Cottage to be spotless and well-presented. However, a few noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust and previous guests' items left behind. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the coastal path, local amenities, and scenic beauty. Guests enjoyed the nearby walks, beaches, and friendly village atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing break.

The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, with ample space and cosy furnishings. Some guests mentioned the beds were hard, and a few had issues with the sofas, but overall, the comfort level was high.

Facilities at Rose Cottage are generally well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of space for families. Some minor maintenance issues were mentioned, such as a lack of wardrobe space and a non-functioning DVD player, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

Guests frequently mentioned the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome gifts and well-thought-out amenities, especially for children. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

The house was well equipped and we enjoyed the welcome gifts (even the ones for the dogs). Ideally situated to visit New Quay, Tenby, Carmarthen to name a few towns we enjoyed all within a hours drive. Property was well stocked and exactly as described. Our only small issue was some of the cleanliness, the main shower we had to clean ourselves and there were lots of dust and cobwebs scattered about

We were so impressed with how clean and tidy the rooms were and how well-equipped the kitchen and place in general was. We all had a great time and we will definitely be returning. I must apologise for the later check out from us - that was a total mistake on our side. But I must say a huge thank you for being so accommodating as I do appreciate that the error was on our part. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Perfectly situated for us. Have visited the village many times over the years. It’s finding accommodation that fits us all in. A short walk from the car park £25 for a weeks stay. Lovely market at the abbey tues mornings selling local produce.
