Cheriton Villa is situated in the small peaceful hamlet of Carew Cheriton and it overlooks the 14th century church of St Mary's. It is with a short walk to Carew Castle and Tidal Mill on the estuary of the Cleddau River. The cottage adjoins the owner's home and is ideal for couples or a small family looking for a quiet countryside break in Pembrokeshire. Cheriton Villa is over 200 years old and has a wealth of character with exposed beams in the lounge and bedrooms. The ground floor provides an open plan sitting room, with a large sofa and armchair, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening watching your favourite TV programmes with the added pleasure of the wood burning stove. The dining area has seating for 6 people and gives a great social space for enjoying a home cooked meal or playing board games. The kitchen comprises of cream wooden units and wooden worktops with a range of high quality appliances. There is also a breakfast table with 4 chairs. The ground floor also has a shower room with toilet and large walk in shower. Upstairs there are 2 bedroom, one double and one twin, both offering lovely rural views. Carew Cheriton has a local village shop at Milton village and two pubs, serving food, all of which are only a 10 minute walk away, with some great country lanes perfect for cycling. Why not visit Heatherton World of Activities? An indoor and outdoor activity centre featuring paintball, fishing, archery and golf. With an on-site café, go karts and a treetop trail. It is even a dog-friendly attraction with a dog agility course, so the whole family can get involved! Tenby Dinosaur Park is a good place to visit and a 15minute drive from us is The Bluewater Indoor Water park and The Oakwood Theme Park, both very popular destinations. If this doesn't take your fancy, then venture towards St Catherine's Island, a remote island spanning 22,000 acres with picturesque beaches, salt marshes and a site for bio-archaeological studies. Pembroke Dock is 5 miles away and is the local shopping town with all the local supermarkets to take advantage of. Cheriton villa is in an ideal location to explore all that beautiful Pembrokeshire, and South West Wales, has to offer.
St Florence is a village in Pembrokeshire, Wales, sitting on The Ritec river. The village dates back to Norman times. Boasting a 12th century parish church which was restored in the 19th century and is now a Grade II listed building. Offering a village store, a local pub and the St Florence Village Hall. Full of history, with fine food and pretty cottages, with easy access to the coastline.
