Just half a mile away, you’ll find the fascinating ruins of Tenby Castle offering magical views over the coast and an invigorating walking pathway.
As you walk through the gate you’ll be captivated by the character of this 1800s property. Stepping inside, you’ll find a cool, calming colour palette paired with natural wood, reflecting the seaside location of the cottage. The living area is a tranquil space, with a wood burner-effect electric fire and two comfortable leather sofas where you can kick back and relax each day. This room also features a family dining table seating four. Next door, the kitchen has a country style with neutral colours and everything you’ll need to prepare meals and picnics throughout your stay, alongside a two-seater breakfast bar. Upstairs, are the two bedrooms, the first of which is furnished with a sumptuous king-size bed and the second, a double. Completing the layout is the brightly lit bathroom with a skylight window and a shower over the bath. From the first floor, you can also access the quaint balcony, a perfect spot for a morning coffee.
Not only is Tenby a hub of history, but it also boasts a selection of blissful beaches and the opportunity to head off on boat trips to spot wildlife or visit the unique nature of Caldey Island. It’s a fantastic place for a family holiday, with something for all ages, including a golf club and a Dinosaur Park. Active adventurers will love the opportunity to walk a stretch of the iconic Pembrokeshire Coast Path where you’ll get the chance to spot rare flora, fauna and wildlife along the way. Alternatively, head to Saundersfoot to visit the quieter beaches of Coppet Hall (4 miles) and Wiseman’s Bridge (5 miles) for a leisurely day lounging on the sand.
