This former coach house has been cleverly converted to create a two-storey retreat, set behind double gates that lead to a shared courtyard. Step through the property’s patio doors and you’ll find a thoughtfully planned and carefully decorated living space, with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the equipment necessary to whip up hearty breakfasts or delicious dinners, with space to enjoy your meals at the breakfast bar. Relax on the generously sized sofa and enjoy watching the TV, reading or simply doing nothing at all. When you’re ready to turn in, the way to bed is up a metal spiral staircase, and at the top you’ll find a tranquil double bedroom and an elegant shower room. As for outside space, you’re welcome to use the courtyard, which is equipped with garden furniture and makes a lovely spot for a drink or meal in the fresh air.

In the summer you can take a boat over to tranquil Caldey Island. There’s a golf course 2 miles away and, if you want to venture further afield, the 11th-century Manorbier Castle and its landscaped gardens is 5.5 miles, while Carew Castle and Tidal Mill is 6 miles.
