Greengate is a cosy cottage praised for its superb location near the town, beach, and train station. Guests appreciate the property's convenience and the added bonus of a parking spot, despite some finding the access challenging. The south-facing garden is a highlight, offering a pleasant outdoor seating area.
The property generally appears to be clean and tidy, but there are isolated reports of overlooked areas and remnants from previous guests. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, indicating a good but not impeccable standard of cleanliness.
The cottage's location is highly commended for its proximity to the town, beaches, and train station, allowing guests to enjoy Tenby without the need for driving. The convenience of the location is a consistent positive throughout the reviews.
Guests find the property cosy and the beds comfortable, with a very good shower and plenty of hot water. However, some guests mention that the sofas are uncomfortable for extended periods, and the mattresses are very soft, suggesting room for improvement in comfort.
The cottage is equipped with necessary facilities and guests are generally satisfied. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a loose shower rail and a temperamental oven. The driveway condition and parking challenges are noted concerns.

Greengate is a charming, three-bedroom house nestled in the seaside town of Tenby, Pembrokeshire. This pet-friendly dwelling has a pretty interior and an enclosed rear garden to dine alfresco on balmy evenings. On arrival, leave your vehicle in an off-road parking space before passing the threshold into the hallway, where you can leave your sandy shoes. The sitting room is a light and airy space; here you can unwind on the sofa as the TV keeps you entertained with a cup of tea in hand. Walking through the property, the kitchen is fully fitted and offers everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals, which can be enjoyed together in the dining room over a glass of wine. Carry the conversation outside to the rear garden and relax on the decking as your pets stretch their legs on the lovely lawned area. As the sky darkens, retire indoors and venture upstairs, where you can savour a soak in the bathroom with a bubble bath or freshen up in the shower. There are three beautifully-appointed bedrooms, including a double with a TV, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. In the morning, take a leisurely stroll to Tenby North Beach to feel the sand between your toes and why not dine out at a beachfront eatery? The historic town of Tenby is perfect for history buffs with its beautiful castle, a Tudor Merchant's House and a Museum and Art Gallery. Visit the quaint town of Camarthen, hosting the Gwili Railway - a beautiful old-fashioned railway that winds through the stunning Welsh countryside. The town also has a lovely park, as well as the Oriel Myrddin Gallery - a world-famous art gallery that features exhibitions by some of the world's most talented artists. For an unforgettable holiday with loved ones, choose Greengate.
Tenby is a busy beach town in Wales that is known as "The Jewel in the Crown." It is located on the stunningly beautiful "Welsh Riviera." Tenby is in the beautiful 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Gulf Stream warms the water there, and the county is one of the sunniest in the UK. This beautiful town is surrounded by mediaeval walls and has a maze of cobblestone streets with lots of unique shops, an indoor food market with food from the area, tea rooms, and tempting restaurants. Nearly three miles of beautiful Blue Flag-awarded beaches offer a variety of watersports. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something that competitors in the world-famous Tenby Iron-Man race (held in mid-September) don't have time for.
