This attractive and peaceful lodge is set along a private country lane in the rural village of Lower Chapel, close to Pwllgloyw (2.5 miles) where you will find a good pub, or you can head to Cradoc Golf Club (5 miles) which serves some fine food. Exploring this beautiful area further, the popular market town of Brecon (6 miles) is known for its historic cathedral, theatre, 1930s style cinema and a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There are miles of amazing walks, and bike trails to follow, with activities nearby including canoeing, horse riding and climbing. Also nearby are Llangorse Lake (12.5 miles), Pen y Fan (12 miles) and Builth Wells home of the Royal Welsh Showground (12 miles). On entering this welcoming, light and cosy wooden cabin, reached via some steps, you will find yourself in the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. The lounge area has a sofa and TV with DVD so you can enjoy a movie in the evening. The sofa doubles up as a sofa bed to accommodate two extra guests. There s also a delightful dining area by the window, and the kitchen is equipped with a range of appliances including a two ring electric hob, oven, combi microwave oven, fridge and toaster. The main double bed is located to the rear of the room. The lodge also features a stylish shower room complete with a shower and WC. French doors open out onto the charming wooden balcony which has some garden furniture so you can sit back at the end of the day and take in the stunning rural views.
