Heating downstairs didnât work nor the lights in kitchen, grave yard came right to house with nearest headstones a few metres from back of house. House on a busy main road which affected sleep of those at front of house.

Deeply disappointed with the location and state of the property. Lots of items not working dirty and poorly maintained and grubby. Contacted the owner when first having issuesâ¦. No reply. However did reply immediately when I text the following morning stating we had left the morning after arriving. Having had to book alternative accommodation. Yes it was that bad! Beds were very uncomfortable, springs totally shot, shower dirty with mould and not working. Properly on a very busy road with single glazed windows in disrepair, a graveyard as a back garden. Got no more than 2 hours sleep that night. Best thing about this property was the new kettle and toaster.

I have used Sykes many times before but have to say I will not be using them again. Deeply disappointed â¹ï¸
