The cottage, which is over 200 years old and once the lodge to the Lower Moor Manor, has a wealth of period features throughout, including original flagstone, lead mullion windows, wooden flooring and the all important wood burning stove! Inside, the house is light and bright, perfect for a family of four, with two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen plus Dining Room and Living Room . All rooms have views across the countryside which surrounds the building. The style is welcoming with a clever mixed of the old with new and modern touches to bring it up to good standard, we found it to be a very charming home. Surrounding the house is a lovely garden with various benches and tables to enjoy the fresh air. The property is located on the English side of the Welsh/English boarder, about 10 mins walk from the centre of Hay, which has a wide and attractive selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
